We care for patients requiring rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery.

If you have had a major illness, injury or surgery, you may find it difficult to return to the way you previously lived. Rehabilitation can help people regain function, become more independent and adjust to new ways of doing things.
Services are provided in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Interpreting services are available in more than 140 languages for patients who require assistance when visiting or staying in hospital.
Highly qualified professional interpreters provide services to facilitate communication between you and your treatment team, either in person or over the phone.
Auslan (Australian sign language) interpreters are also available for patients with a hearing impairment.
You are welcome to bring your partner, relative, or friend for support at your appointments; however, you are not to use family, friends, carers, or partners as interpreters.
Trained interpreters must ensure you understand the medical information discussed with you, enabling you to make informed decisions about your care.
All interpreting and cultural support services are provided free of charge.
